St. Andrew’s Parish is pleased to offer the Hamilton Diocese endorsed program When Life Changes. A 2-Series, 6 week video-based program using Dr. Bill Webster’s grief material. This program is intended to help you understand your grief and provides practical tips for helping you through. It is led by trained facilitators and is offered free of charge.
The program is normally offered at St. Andrew’s twice a year, with one series in the Spring and one in the Fall. All are welcome to attend. The program is also offered at other parishes within the Diocese throughout the year. For more information on other dates/locations please visit
When Life Changes (Grief Program) Special Video Presentation
Grief and Faith, Hope and Meaning
on Wednesday, July 8, 2026 from 7pm to 8.30pm
While a part of Dr. Bill Webster's video Grief Support Program - this is a stand-alone video that offers Churches, people of faith, and those who want to explore the spiritual side of finding Hope and Meaning after a loss, the opportunity to hear various views and affirmations of how faith has helped in the midst of tragedy. While there is no structured “Discussion” that is associated to this video, an opportunity for participants to reflect and share on the video presentation will be provided. There is NO COST/PRE-REQUISITE to attending this presentation, however, registration is required.

Coping with Christmas – Saturday, December 12, 2026 from 10:30 – Noon
While part of Dr. Bill Webster’s video Grief Support Program – this is a stand-alone video. Christmas is often referred to as “the most wonderful time of the year”. But after bereavement, the “Season to be Jolly” can feel anything but. What can we do to cope with the grief we feel? How can we survive the season and possibly even find ways to make it meaningful? In this 30-minute video, Dr. Bill offers some Helpful Hints on Handling the Holidays. Following the video participants can join a brief discussion to reflect on the video presentation. When Life Changes – Grief Support – Series 1 – The Journey Begins
St. Andrew’s Parish and Arbour Care present a series of workshops “When Life Changes”. Has someone you cared about died? Are you grieving the loss of the person’s presence in your life? Are you looking for relief from the feelings associated with the loss of this loved one? You are not alone! Our six-week grief program runs from Wednesday,October 28, to Wednesday, Dec 2, 2026 from 7-8:30 pm. This program is designed to educate, support and provide tools for coping with your grief.
