SOCIAL VISITORS OF ST. ANDREW
This is a person to person
outreach Ministry with an emphasis on companionship (and spiritual support if
needed or requested). Members, make regular
visits, in pairs, to parishioners and other residents of Long Term Care and
Assisted Living facilities as well as Seniors’ Residences, within the
boundaries of the Parish. (Some team
members are also available to visit private homes on an ongoing basis). Teams usually visit on
Tuesday or Saturday afternoons, but some flexibility and frequency in
scheduling is possible. All members of this
Ministry are subject to Parish and Police screening. There is an ever
increasing demand for this vital and rewarding Ministry and new members are
always welcome. If you know of anyone who
